Submit your Registration Request Form to choose your lesson dates. - Check the
The system will automatically send you a pricelist and a summary of the classes you selected.
Please review both documents carefully to confirm accuracy.
Reservation requests made after December 1 have 48 hours to make changes before a service/change fee applies.
Requests made before December 1 may be updated until December 15 without a fee.
Credit card payment reserves your student’s spot.
Our goal is to make enrollment simple, clear, and stress-free for every family.
⭐ WHAT TO EXPECT ON LESSON DAY
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time.
Meet at the designated program flag at the base of the hill.
Students need: helmet, protective eyewear, warm layers, labeled gear.
Our instructors focus on safety, confidence, and fun — and we pair students thoughtfully by age and ability to support progress.
We will communicate schedule or weather changes on our social media accounts — please also review our weather policy below.
Our goal is a smooth, joyful, memorable day on the mountain for every student.
OUR MOST POPULAR PROGRAMS AND TIMES FILL UP FAST!
QSSS has recently made several accommodations to try to help ease the constraints and allow our valued guests the accommodations they request. However, we are not always able to accommodate your requests due to popularity of our programs, mountain and/or time constraints. In this case we ask that you check the box on the request form stating to obtain a lesson you will be flexible and take an afternoon time or vice versa on the day you are inquiring about, based on availability. This will ensure that your lessons will be accommodated to the best of our ability on the day you requested. We hate to say no to anyone as we love sharing our passion of snow sports here at Quechee Ski and Sports School! Thank you for your interest and we look forward to seeing you on the hill soon!
We know that weather and snow conditions vary, but if the resort is open for skiing/riding we will be providing lesssons as scheduled and you will be charged fully for cancellations or assessed the change fee if moved to another time prior to the 48 hour cancellation period, due to these eventss. On the off chance that Ski Quechee is closed, or QS&SS deems the weather too harmful we will make those announcements on our website, and social media pages, and charges will not be incurred.
Quechee Ski and Sports School
Quechee Ski and Sports School at Ski Quechee, is Vermont’s friendliest place to learn to take on the slopes and winter terrain, from skiing to snowboarding, skinning and even Nordic skiing. For all skills and ages, fun and safety are always our top priorities.
***The Quechee Ski and Sports School is a privately operated business contracted by Quechee Lakes Landowners Association (QLLA) with exclusive rights to provide instruction at Ski Quechee. Visit the Ski School in The Base Lodge.

"Bee" Ski Ready
For just $75, your child will build ski skills, boost strength and muscle memory, play games, and cook over the fire—all in a fun 2.5-hour session. Let’s get ready to ride! Pre-season dates December 6&7 and 13&14 for 2025.

Junior Ski Instructor Development Program
Future Ski Instructors Start Here
Open to passionate 13–14 year olds ready to level up. This program builds personal riding skills while introducing the essentials of teaching—games, lesson tools, child development, and class management. It’s the perfect launchpad for young leaders on snow. ($275 for the season)
CROSS COUNTRY
Quechee Ski and Sports School offers cross country skiing lessons. $85 for private lessons $125 semi-private per hour. Lessons available weekdays and weekends
LOCAL SPECIALS
Skiing Is a Life Skill in the Upper Valley
At QSSS, we’re passionate about sharing the slopes with local skiers and riders.
NEW THIS YEAR Special Local Pricing of $50 for group lessons and $70 for Privates with twilight lift ticket pricing for those over 7. Proof of local school or homeschool address necessary for booking.

SKINNING
Earn your own turns! Put skins on your skis and skin up with us! Private lessons available currently. $85 for private lessons, $125 semi-private per hour.
Our Policies
**Cancellation Policy**
Any lesson that is canceled within 48 hours of the day of the lesson and/or no shows for lessons that have been confirmed, will be charged in full.
Please let us know if you choose to cancel by forwarding via e-mail a copy of your reservation report and the dates/times/classes and student information of the cancelation to: CustomerService@QuecheeSkiSchool.com .
Any change in lesson reservations will incur a $20 service charge.
Here at Quechee Ski and Sports School we have been humbled by the sheer number of requests for our lessons and wish that we could accommodate everyone’s original requests.
We have been full for our most popular programs and times since opening reservations to members in October.
Since then we have made accommodations, policy and procedural changes, hired staff, created logistic plans to keep congestion low on the hill and worked through cancellations that have allowed for changes to happen for families, as well as kept up with a waitlist of more than 30+ people on some days for some programs, that needed to occur before the ability for your family to make changes could occur.
The change fee is $20 per change and helps us mitigate but not alleviate, the costs associated with the planning of our staff and instructors.
We do our best to accommodate evey one by adding your family to what is open on the day of your request, in lieu of saying “I’m sorry we are full and not able to accommodate your request”.
This way you were able to plan knowing your family had spots even if it was not what you originally requested and why we add the “if your request is full will you take other lessons” button on the request form.
f you are placed on a waitlist and moved off of that we too will need to charge for the same reasoning.

If the participant is sick or has symptoms, the Ski School will give credit for the lesson to be used sometime this season as long as we are notified by 7:15am the day of the lesson.

LESSON AVAILABILITY
Priority access to the Ski School will be given to Members of Quechee Club, Member Family Guests Starting on October 20, 24, then opens to season pass holders on November 3rd then open to all starting November 9th. For priority access members please request reservations prior to November 3rd, 2024.
Additional capacity will be based on availability. Quechee Ski and Sports School operates on a first come first serve basis.
Weather

The Ski School reserves the right to cancel lessons for any reason, including but not limited to changes in the State of Vermont's operation guidance, instructor availability or extreme weather. Please monitor our facebook and instagram pages for current updates.
Reservations
This year, QSSS will be accepting reservation requests online only.
All reservations will be made in the order in which they were received. We fill up fast so please plan to register early for preferred availability. Please indicate if you are willing to be added to the next available lesson the day you are attending, if the times you requested are not available, based on the first come first serve policy, if you indicate that you will take other options if your preferred time is unavailable, we will fit you in. Otherwise you will be added to our wait list.
Please give us 5 business days to process your reservation requests. An email confirmation will be sent out to you. This email will state either you were able to get into all of your desired lessons or show times that we had to change based on your willingness to take other times if they are available the day you desire.
