Frequently Asked Questions
When will my reservation be confirmed?
Please allow up to 5 business days for our team to process your reservation request. Once reviewed, you’ll receive an email confirming your lessons, any adjustments to your requested times, or an update if we’re unable to accommodate your request.

What if my preferred lesson time is unavailable?
Our most popular programs and lesson times fill up quickly! When submitting your reservation request, you can indicate whether you’re willing to accept an alternative time on your preferred date.
If you’re flexible, we’ll do our best to find an available lesson that works for your family. Otherwise, you’ll be placed on our waitlist.
Can I change or cancel my reservation?
Yes! We understand that plans sometimes change.
Changes & Cancellations: A $20 service fee applies to any change to a confirmed reservation, including cancellations.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Lessons canceled less than 48 hours before the scheduled lesson time, and no-shows, are charged in full.
Illness: If your child is sick, please let us know by 7:15 AM on the day of the lesson. The lesson will be charged and the full amount credited toward another lesson this season. The $20 change fee does not apply to illness.
Weather: Lessons generally continue as scheduled whenever Ski Quechee is open. If the mountain closes or QSSS determines conditions are unsafe, affected lessons will not incur cancellation charges.
What happens if my child is sick on lesson day?
Your child’s health and well-being come first! If your child is sick or experiencing symptoms, please notify us before 7:15 AM on the day of the lesson.

Are lift tickets and equipment included in lesson prices?
No. Lift tickets and ski or snowboard equipment rentals are not included in lesson pricing.
Discounted lift tickets may be available for eligible lesson participants who are not Quechee Club members or season passholders. Equipment rentals are available separately through Henderson’s Ski & Sports Shop.
Non-members and guests without a season pass can pick up a discounted lift ticket voucher ($30 youth / $35 adult) at the Ski School office before their lesson.

What happens if lessons are canceled due to weather?
Winter weather is part of the adventure! As long as Ski Quechee is open and conditions are considered safe, lessons will take place as scheduled.
If Ski Quechee closes or QSSS determines that conditions are unsafe, lessons may be canceled without cancellation charges.
